O'ZOPFT is!

Coach Kompany had given permission in advance for the Bayern stars' traditional Oktoberfest visit to the Käfer tent on Sunday: “If a player wants to, he can drink beer, I have no problem with that.” The main thing is that they are fit again on Monday!”

Now it’s clear: The first Kompany Oktoberfest in Bavaria can be a fun-filled one!

Only shortly before kick-off did Bayern have to deal with a small setback: goalkeeper Neuer, who had been injured against Zagreb, had to abandon the warm-up due to problems with his thigh, and his replacement Ulreich moved into goal at short notice.

But the Munich team is not impressed by this – thanks to Michael Olise (22)!

The Frenchman, who is recognizable by his striking braid, stands out with two goals and two assists at the Bayern gala. First, he takes advantage of a big mistake by Werder's Weiser and scores the deserved lead for Bayern – 1:0 (23').

Only nine minutes later, Olise (BILD rating 1/came from Crystal Palace in the summer for 51 million euros) dances his way past several Bremen players and passes to the completely free Musiala, who only has to push the ball over the line – 2-0 (32').

After the break the Olise show continues! Three minutes after his assist for the 3-0 (Kane/57th), he curled the ball into the left corner for a brace (60th).

The Frenchman has scored five goals in the last three games (previously one in Kiel, two against Zagreb), was involved in most shots on goal in Bremen (3 shots on goal, 6 assists) and won a strong 65% of his duels.

In total, Bayern have scored 20 (!) goals in three games this week thanks to Gnabry's 5-0 (65'). The last time they managed that was in August 2021 under Julian Nagelsmann (3-2 against Cologne, 12-0 at Bremer SV, 5-0 against Hertha).

Emotional moment before kick-off: The Bremen fans, but also the Munich fans, remember the Werder fan Hersh Goldberg-Polin (✝︎23), who was murdered by Hamas. In the Werder curve, there was a large choreography by the fans, on the banners read: “May your memory be a revolution, my brother” and “Shalom, Salam, Peace.” His face was also shown.
