Court documents: Matt Gaetz attended a drug-related sex party with a 17-year-old girl

Matt Gaetz allegedly attended a sex party with a 17-year-old girl in 2017 that involved drugs, according to legal documents filed in federal court late Thursday night. The allegations, which the Florida congressman has long denied, were based on sealed affidavits from three eyewitnesses, Notus reported.

Representative Matt Gaetz is accused of participating in a drug-fueled sex party with minors

The witnesses were being interviewed by defense attorneys as part of an ongoing civil lawsuit filed by Chris Dorworth, Gaetz's friend and lobbyist. In their testimony, they said the teenager arrived at the party, held at Dorworth's Lake Mary home on July 15, 2017, in her mother's car.

The girl, identified in the documents as AB and then an 11th grade high school student, was allegedly provided for the entertainment of Gaetz and the others in attendance who were there to “engage in sexual activity.”

The documents also state that a young woman, identified in the documents as KM, claimed that “alcohol, cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana” were present at the party.

“The findings to date in this case indicate that on Saturday, July 15, 2017, Dorworth hosted a party at his residence…with the following guests: (1) AB; (2) KM; (3) BG; (4) Matt Gaetz,” the attorneys wrote in the filing, according to the outlet.

The allegations were cited in sealed affidavits that included statements from three women who saw Gaetz during the alleged drug party at Dorworth's home.

The congressman's ex-girlfriend, who was also present at the meeting, testified against Dorworth's claim that he was not there. Gaetz's ex gave her last-minute testimony on Sept. 3, just two days before Dorworth dropped his lawsuit.

In addition, “Notus has independently confirmed that Gaetz and one of the women who testified had a prior relationship; she is identified in the court filing only by her initials, BG.”
