I'm considering a possible call-up to the WWE main roster, but I'm happy where I am

Trick Williams is proud to be in NXT, even as fans continue to wonder when he might move up to the main roster.

Williams will headline the premiere of NXT on The CW Network. There he will challenge Ethan Page for the NXT Championship. But as he is arguably the face of NXT, he is often linked to the main roster as his momentum has been undeniable over the past few months.

“I think about it all the time, but I'm happy where my feet are,” he said. “I mean, NXT is on fire right now, probably one of the better times NXT has ever seen. That's why I'm proud to be here. I'm proud to be the face of NXT. Why are we going to CW? Why we got the biggest TV deal NXT has ever gotten, why we travel so much now and so on. I’m a part of it and it feels good to say: Hey, we’re celebrating something special here.”

Williams also commented on his current stint in NXT, saying he enjoyed everything.

“I’m enjoying it all, it’s Cloud 9,” he said. “That's why I wanted to do this, feel the rush of the fans, win titles and make a difference. Seeing the kids go crazy is amazing.”
