The 10 highest-rated players from BYU's win over Kansas State

Kalani Sitake and the BYU football program are 4-0 and 1-0 in the conference. When the AP poll comes out on Sunday, the Cougars will likely be ranked after dominating a top-15 team. Here are the 10 highest-rated players according to Pro Football Focus (at least 10 snaps played).

Aisea Moa only played 10 snaps against Kansas State, but he was impressive. Moa had three stops and a forced fumble in limited reps. Stops are defined as “tackles that represent a 'failure' for the offense.”

Jakob Robinson was crucial in run support against Kansas State. In fact, he was BYU's highest-rated defender against the run. According to the game report, Robinson was credited with seven total tackles and one quarterback hit.

True freshman Jonathan Kabeya was called upon when Evan Johnson left the game in the first quarter due to injury. Kabeya responded. He had the highest coverage grade on Saturday night. He was targeted twice and did not allow a reception. On a fourth down in the fourth quarter, Kabeya had a PBU that led to a turnover on downs.

The highest scoring player on offense? Tight end Mata'ava Ta'ase. Ta'ase had the best run rating on the team.

Death. Taxes. And the performance of Chase Roberts. Roberts was again the most productive wide receiver for BYU. He was the Cougars' highest-graded player on passing plays. Roberts finished the game with two catches for 47 yards and a touchdown. He overcame an early drop on the first drive.

BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff didn't put up great numbers, but he took care of the football and took advantage of the short fields. Retzlaff had two great throws and didn't have a single turnover worth losing.

Retzlaff certainly still has room for improvement, but a clean game was a step in the right direction.

BYU linebacker Harrison Taggart is a top 10 prospect week after week. Taggart led BYU with 10 total tackles against Kansas State. PFF gave him four team-leading stops and he also had an interception that allowed a BYU touchdown.

What a performance from this true freshman. Sione Moa was originally for Navy out of high school but transferred to BYU after his mission. The former 5A MVP from Timpview was outstanding, especially in the second half.

He led the Cougars with 76 yards on 15 carries. Moa got better as the game went on.

Moa has earned a spot in the rotation even if LJ Martin returns. Moa and Martin could make a good tandem.

BYU offensive guard Weylin Lapuaho was the highest-rated BYU offensive lineman. He had a pass blocking rating of 91.5 – the highest by far.

Cornerback Marque Collins completes the top 10. Collins was targeted twice in coverage, but did not allow a single pass. He also had a pass breakup.
